TREMBLEPIERRE
TREMBLEPIERRE
Tremblepierre is an ethical luxury brand founded in 2017 by the designer Olivia Berthelot.
Today the house is focusing on its key piece, the cozy oversized coat, a pared-down piece that comes back every season with as a base the cut of the Japanese garment. The brand which from the beginning uses the upcycling process by re-using dormant stocks of Parisian couture houses strives to perpetuate these values and go further in its re-employment process. Eco-responsibility and local know-how are at the center of his concerns.
The chic and casual style of the brand is summed up in this oversized coat, the house signature. It is a wraparound piece giving style to an outfit. The flowing masculine feminine pant sets come to complete the coats. A matching belt is supplied with all the pieces so as to offer two different silhouettes. The outfits are always flexible and practical. This winter, soft and comfortable coats are available in neutral colors through the “Essentiels” line. Silky wool-cashmere from Italy contrast with colorful linings made from vintage silk squares.
Tremblepierre loves color and makes it known through the bold line of “Artys”. Colorful coats composed of « color blocks » of colors are like abstract works in 3 dimensions. The colored woolen inserts are upcycled and come from the end of stocks of major Parisian fashion houses. With the line of “vintage remade”, the label pushes the work of reuse even further. After being selected for their warmth and colorful sheen, vintage wool blankets materialize into coats composed of patchwork cutouts.
All Tremblepierre pieces are made locally in France, in order to maintain proximity with the manufacturers and to reduce the environmental impact. The unique pieces are handcrafted in the Parisian workshop of the brand. The house wishes to propose luxurious clothing at the fairest possible prices. By avoiding intermediaries, Tremblepierre wish to offer its customers an excellent level of quality at an affordable price.
