Arts and crafts: Wood Light’s wooden sunglasses are revisited classics.

From their grandfather, a carpenter, Julien and Vincent, engineers by training, are fascinated by woodworking and beautiful workmanship. An unexpected meeting with an optician gave them the idea to start designing high quality artisanal eyewear. That’s how the “Wood Light » brand was born.

They use multi-layer assembly technology for their premium eyewear, guaranteeing lightness and strength. To be in a sustainable, eco-responsible approach, waste resulting from the production are sorted and oriented towards appropriate treatment channels. Manufacturing, cutting and assembly are done in their workshop in Saint Babel, Auvergne, France.

Wood is a sensual material, which our artisans want to transmit its essence and history. Glasses are handmade with French walnut.
